Uniquely Me!

Finally I'm able to update my blog...wow! I can see cobwebs everywhere! (lama sgt x update blog)...
I am too engulf with works, many things that need to be done quickly....sometimes I feel that I could not catch up my breath (maybe I need oxygen tank by my side, over la pulak)...enough chit chat about works...I realize that I often lamenting about works as an intro of my entry....sorry my dear...

often this thought comes into my mind, how should I define myself...I'm having problem in using the right word to describe myself, maybe because I'm still clueless or still searching my identity (most probably)...I think the people around me would know how to define me (maybe the person who really know me)...
as for myself, I can say that I like to be different...I dislike to be common, I like to be extraordinary...people tend to misjudge my actions and thoughts (including my darling hubby, huhu)...my husband often tells me that maybe they are not in the same wave length as me...and I should not expect people to be as same as me...confusing, right?

I am sentimental...I tend to choose things which contained sentimental value(s) or closely related to me...for example, songs...I am very particular with lyric compared to the music or rhythm...I'm likely to choose songs that would remind me of my memories with someone or something...that's why I think I'm like a 'grandma' sometimes (mak nenek, ehehe)....

the way I dress, the choice of my accessories and everything about me should be uncommon...simple and comfortable yet stylish and unique!

the most important thing is, LOVE YOURSELF...once you accept who you are, then other people can accept you...
so, don't be afraid if you are different....normal, so overrated!

The Divine Smell of Flora

hi y'all...it's been quite a long time you didn't hear from me, right? First, I've been busy with my works, many paper works and projects going on these past few weeks...and for about a week the internet was not available in my area because of some cable problems...

I was busy, busy, busy and did not have time to enjoy and entertain myself...luckily my husband could make time this weekend, so he came back home as promised....we spent the weekend together by walking down the memory lane...my mum needed to attend an event and the place is near my Alma Mater, a teaching college in Pengkalan Chepa...she went there with a friend of her because we were doing our shopping at KB Mall, but we had to pick her up after the event...after the shopping, my husband wanted to dine at our favorite "Nasi Kukus" restaurant back at the teaching college, so we went there early...we were lucky because the night market also took place that day, and we got to buy our favorite dishes when we were students...I'm so happy as I could eat the food that I really long for (because some of the foods are only available at that Pengkalan Chepa night market, and no one in her/his right mind would want to drive for more than 30km from Pasir Mas to Pengkalan Chepa just for the sole purpose of buying that particular food) but my husband was a bit upset because the "Nasi Kerabu Goreng" is no longer available...poor him!

The next day, I needed to work and my husband went back to Johore to where he's teaching...we're apart and I was upset! But the feeling ceased a bit because my colleague brought some perfume testers...ngehehe...I love that so much! why? I can get original perfumes for a cheap price....and testers are the excellent way to buy perfume at a discount without compromising the quality...testers contains the original quantity of the quantity mentioned on the bottle...

I bought this for rm35 only...

Health is Bliss

I love kids very much and is keen to have my own in near future...I was diagnosed with PCOS (poly cystic ovary syndrome) and the chance for me to get pregnant is quite slim compared to normal people...but, I am still trying and praying to get pregnant (very soon)...
PCOS comes in a package; I'm having emotional imbalance and sleep apnea...and sometimes I experience anxiety and depression, pelvic pain and some other things...I am very thankful because my husband is very understanding and supportive...he always be there for me during my series of treatments and consultations...and he tries hard to be at my side during my emotional breakdown....
I'm always with pills and sometimes grew tired of them...
but my hubby keeps on encouraging me to go on and live my life...
and one of the things that keep me going is my students...I pour the love towards my students and sometimes I feel like I spoil them a bit (ehehe)...I channel my happiness and energy towards teaching, humor my students with silly jokes and try to be friends with them...at least I'm happy that way rather than depressing myself by overly thinking about my illness...

Thanks to my hubby, friends and students that I'm able to take these pills...and please pray for my health and wish me to get pregnant soon...hehehe...
To my dear hubby, I am grateful because you accept me the way I am and most importantly you teach me how to love myself...because of that, I'm able to fly high although there are many boundaries that chained me to the ground...
I hope we (hubby and me)can be best friends forever and stay like that for the rest of our life...but more intimate (kikiki)...

Songs that Finally Make It to My Playlist

hi y'all...i haven't been blogging for more than a week! My excuse for this time is that I'm being insomniac for the whole week (huhu)...I feel sleepy as early as 7 pm...and it's so hard to fight the sleepiness...the most important thing that keep me from falling into the dreamland is that i keep telling myself "You should do the most vital thing for a Muslimah, performing the solat"...after praying the Maghrib prayer, then I would zzzz...I will wake up at 2 in the morning and could not fall back to sleep afterwards...and the eye bag becomes heavier day by day, even my hubby is afraid to look at my face in the morning (I'm not married to a zombie, nooooo!!!)

the thing that accompanies me during my 'wake up' phase is the songs in my playlist...my favorite is rock songs but just recently, i love hearing rap from W.A.R.I.S
i find his songs are very unique and they contain positive messages to the listeners...WARIS includes phrases that often said by his grandparents (I forgot whether it is his grandma or granddad) in his rap according to the radio interview that I heard... if I not mistaken the radio station is SURIA.FM...as usual I would listen to SURIA top 30 on Saturday hosted by HOLO (Halim Othman dan Linda Onn) and they invited WARIS to join the slot...

WARIS raps in Negeri Sembilan's dialect and I regard it as fascinating because it goes very well with the rhythm...his latest single featuring other DJs "Ritma Merdeka" is marvelous...as I listen to the song I could gather many information about our beloved nation...I even considering to use this song in my "Sivik dan Kewarganegaraan" class...
thanks to WARIS because he adds up the spice in my songs choice and offers me a new perspective especially in rap songs...i love all the 3 songs from WARIS; Rembau Most Wanted, Bertingket and Ritma Merdeka...
WARIS,keep up the good works...

Sneaker VS Heel

Are you a sneaker person or a high heels person? I’m both but depend on the situations. Speaking of casualties and comfort, I prefer sneaker but in term of elegance and beauty, I would choose high heel. But still, I’m amazed with individual who can wear high heel. Why? I’m always wondering, “Are they not experiencing pain wearing those?”, especially when I see one wearing extremely high heels. Although heel gives an illusion of longer and more slender leg, but it hurts my legs so much especially at the area of my ankle. I look beautiful and confident in heel but not for long, sigh!!
I’m always envious seeing those who can wear heel for a long duration (I’m only last for not more than 15 minutes). Plus, heel offer various designs that caught your attention as well as others compared to sneaker and flat shoes.
The ‘devil’ in me always arguing, tormenting and doubting my choice when it comes to footwear. I want to look beautiful but I do not feel comfy in high heel. I prefer sneaker but anxious about my appearance in it. Everything is conflicting!
I think the conflict will end (?) after I bought Puma Faas 300 Narita. The shoe is very comfortable and stylish. It’s suitable for casual wear and sport activities. And I don’t care anymore of what people will say and most importantly the ‘devil’ in me about how I match the shoe with my outfit.

My new Puma Faas 300 Narita in atlantis-blue-fluo yellow!!

Minion Love

I love minions...huhuhu...those yellow little creature are very cuuutee...especially the ones in the epic "I Swear Minion Version" video...
I thought I could own one of the minions offered by Mc'Donalds but all were sold out...
and because of desperate need of wanting + owning + possessing a minion...i finally get my personalized Samsung Galaxy Note 2 minion case...thank you so much City Jaya KB Mall for making my dream came true...the printing was nice and the price was affordable...love it soooo muuuchh...the minion was printed on a metal plate ( actually I'm not quite sure the exact thing used for the plate) and pasted on a transparent case...
I'm very satisfied and recommended the store to all...

                   Cute, isn't it?

Book + Fashion Fiesta!!

hi...
i have stopped writing for quite some times because of Eid....mostly I've been busy with the prep for the Eid...I celebrated Eid at my husband's place, Terengganu...I love spending time there because of the environment (I think?)...love to be at the beach and feel the breeze...oh la la...
two days before Eid, I went shopping with my hubby...because both of my husband and I love to read, we like to pay a visit to the bookstore...while my hubby been busy choosing a jigsaw puzzle for his little sis, I saw a book which caught my attention, "Gaya Hijab Metropolitan Dian Pelangi"...so I went to the shelf and browsed through the book and immediately fall in love with it....they are no words except for pictures and I agreed with Dian's words,
"Buku ini lebih banyak gambar berbanding tulisan. Saya fokuskan kepada gambar kerana bagi saya setiap gambar ada cerita di sebaliknya"

"UNTUK SEMUA WANITA KEPUNYAAN ALLAH DI SELURUH DUNIA. LET'S INSPIRE EACH OTHER"

SOME TIPS FOR EDITING?

Aloha people,
for to today, I'm going to share a simple trick for editing pictures to be uploaded in your blog...my husband taught me this trick when we were in the university...you don't need to install those editing tools, just use your POWER POINT that is already installed in your computer...OMG, are you kidding me? Nope...this is not a joke, it's real!

1. First you need to open your Microsoft Power Point. Click on "Insert" and then click "Picture".

2. After you inserted your picture, adjust it to your preference. Later, click on the "Insert" menu, click "Text Box". You do your typing in the "Text box" and again adjust the placement of the "Text Box", fonts, fonts size and etc to your liking.

3. After you finish with your wording and picture (s) and editing, highlight the whole slide and using right click menu, you click on "Group".

4. Finally, after you "Group" it, using the right click menu again click on "Save Picture As", a new window will pop up as usual asking you to name the picture and choose the format. Done!

REUSE?

I don't know what I should term for what I'm doing with my necklace and bracelets but I'm sure that it is a good way of utilizing what I have without spending too much money on accessories...
for simple look, I just wear the necklace on the first pic below with one of the bracelets...and if I want to look more classy and different, I just combine those two...easy, right?
Try to mix and match your accessories and give them a new look...I got many questions from my friends and colleagues when I wear the bracelet-necklace, such as, "where do you get it?", "How much does it cost you?" and .....(they can never guess that it is a bracelet, hihihi)
I just answer their questions with a smile...

Affordable Fashion

hi, we meet again...this is my second entry and I would love to share my recent shopping experience...i can say that almost everybody are aware of fashion, right? Ladies especially (and of course i am included...ehehe) like to browse through the magazines and always having those jaw-opening moments looking at the fascinating and vibrant clothes... Deep down in our tiny heart we wish to have those kind of attire. But, another jaw-opening moment will occur after we look at the price tags...
I forgot who said this but I totally agree with that person, "Fashion will fade but not style" (very deep)
I love to look at how people style their clothes...and later I will adapt and adopt some of the style to fit with my comfort and of course my pocket...what I am trying to say is, don't be a fashion victim...just because that outfit is in season, you are willing to spend a lot of money just to own it...
I love shopping at Kenanga Wholesale City or for short KWC...and my favourite spot is MUSSO...why i like MUSSO so much? It offers various designs of clothes with super fine quality and affordable price...this brand is from Korea (I think, because the tag says MUSSO Korea)...the other reason why I prefer this brand is because the clothes are quite loose and fit with my body size (I am quite plump and sometimes it's quite hard to find clothes that can fit me well)...Most of my clothes are from that brand...
I forgot the name of my other favourite outlet at KWC, but I get a very pretty palazzo that just cost me RM25!(the first pic below)
who says that fashion can be pricey?

                  Palazzo, Unbranded, RM25

                     Palazzo, MUSSO, RM25

A Fresh Start...

I started blogging since 2009 because of a special person..I'm not good with words and prefer written words as a tool to communicate with that person...through my blog he is updated with my feelings and moods as well as my daily activities...I dislike discussing things using words and therefore he (which is currently my husband) suggested me to create a blog so that he can follow me whenever and where ever he is...

One fine day, he asked me about my blog which I totally forgot about it...Today is the day which i have free time to browse through this blog AGAIN...and found out that my last entry was in 2011 which was 2 years back...wohoooo!!!

I decided to delete all the entries starting from 2009 - 2011 and start anew...since my husband is far far away from me, he can follow me whenever and where ever he is, despite his tight and busy schedule...kikiki...

wish me luck dear!
